The Philippine National hero Dr. Jose P. Rizal in his book Footnote cited and quoted the following lines:
“El mentir de las estrellas es un cómodo mentir”. Meaning to say: “To lie about the stars is a safe way of lying”.
Speaking of stars in heaven, in my aloneness, loneliness, I feel like a disappearing solitary star in the galactic vastness of space. Part of expanding universe and falling into a dark bottomless pit swallowed by eternal darkness.
Then reborn into eternal brightness, a blazing sun ball of light and fire. But it would not be neither part of freezing cold freezer galaxies nor blinding brightness never witnessed before by earthlings.
We know from experience the moon’s brightness is cold but not freezing cold; while the sun’s glaring brightness is a ball of fire but not hot enough to burn structures on earth. Otherwise, the sun shall itself disintegrate melting and ending its solar system.
Therefore, speaking of beginning and end, the Genesis say…”In the beginning there are the heavens and the earth.” And the Lord Jesus say in the Revelation: “I am Alpha and Omega,” the beginning and the end. “No time end”—but infinite and eternal.
