Congratulations, Polillo Carmelians! Your brave efforts during this time of COVID-19 were rewarded. Lilibeth Encina and Yolanda Pamintuan who led this trailblazing effort reported that they have raised nearly 470,000 pesos (about $9,700) raised so far exceeding their goal of 420,000 pesos (about $8,750). This means they will not only offer scholarships to poor students, but more importantly, they will help provide Catholic education, at Mt. Carmel School of Polillo (MCSP). Thank you to all the batches, scattered all over the world, for responding generously to their calls, emails, personal meetings, text messages, Messenger reminders, and other means.
A big shout out, too, to the teachers and alumni led by Mayor Cristina Encallado Bosque, for the renovation of the student canteen to comply with DepEd regulations. Same goes to the various donors donating school supplies such as printer inks, reams of paper, and others. This incredible collaboration is to be commended! More power to all of you! Please know that “God cannot be outdone in generosity.”
Question: Are there other Mt. Carmel School alumni groups in the Prelature of Infanta doing similar alumni activities such as engaged by the Polillo Carmelians? Metro Infanta Foundation would like to give a big shout out to you too!
