The Foundation‘s IRS & Finance Report FY18-19 shows that Metro Infanta Foundation has enough donations to distribute grants. This year’s collection included donations for the first Asian Pacific Stewardship Conference in the Philippines, in cooperation with the International Catholic Stewardship Council and Socio Pastoral Institute.
As usual since FY 1996-1997, Auditor Romy Coronacion submitted the IRS & Finance Report FY18-19 in a timely manner.
First Asian Pacific Stewardship Conference
Meanwhile, thanks to all our donors who make it possible for Metro Infanta Foundation to address concerns in Metro Infanta and beyond. A significant amount of the FY18-19 grants has gone towards funding the very successful first Asian Pacific Stewardship Conference. Nearly 200 delegates, including bishops, clergy and lay leaders to learn about stewardship as a way of life attended the conference. The Foundation has made stewardship and sustainability of the “Church of the Poor” among its focus in grant distribution.
Other Grant Distributions
As a result of increased donations, Metro Infanta Foundation distributed grants to various organizations. The IRS & Finance Report FY18-19 listed the Carmelite Sisters and Holy Family Church in Quezon City as recipients of grants. In addition, The Prelature of Infanta, Mt. Carmel of Infanta, and Infanta’s St. Mark’s Parish also received grants for faith formation, the seminary, construction projects, and tuition assistance. Puso sa Puso Edukasyon in Payatas and Tondo received a grant to purchase a second container tank to serve as classroom.
Additionally grants went to St. Paul Sisters Iloilo, St. Paul University Manila, St. Peter Thelmo Parish in Aparri, Tuguegarao, and Marinduque International. Moreover, the Foundation also made a contribution to Jardin de La Niña in Columbia for the benefit of orphans. In addition, the Socio Pastoral Institute, our mission partner, received funding to promote stewardship as a way of life and to coordinate the first Asian Pacific Stewardship Conference.
