Most Reverend Bernardino Cortez, Bishop of the Prelature of Infanta, and Fr. Francis B. Lucas, current Chairman of the Metro Infanta Foundation board, presented Mr. Apolinar Ayala Derilo and Mrs. Salvacion Azcarraga Derilo with a Plaque of Appreciation, Sunday, June 19, 2022, for their dedicated service to the Foundation from 1996 to 2021.
Mr. Derilo served as the Chairman of the Board, while Mrs. Derilo served as the board membership chair. Because of their enthusiasm for the mission of the Foundation, Infantahins also supported the Foundation, increasing its roster by at least 300 members and donors over the years.
Mr. Derilo also served as the Gabaldon Building Committee Chairman, and, along with Mrs. Derilo, became the face of the Foundation during the planning, preparation, taking care of official obligations before construction, and eventually the construction of the Gabaldon and inauguration.
Metro Infanta Foundation is extremely grateful for the time, talent, and treasure Mr. and Mrs. Derilo have dedicated to the mission and goals of the Foundation.In honor of Mr. and Mrs. Derilo, Metro Infanta Foundation made a 150,000 pesos donation to the St. Mark’s Cathedral.Fr.
