At last! A Positive Feedback on Gabaldon project
Editor's Note: Below is an email Ambassador Arizala receive, with cc to the editor. Thank you Tony Vera Cruz for offering more than just donating money. Your time and talent are very important to maknig our dream a reality.
Dear Ambassador Rudy Arizala,
May the peace and love of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you.
I am back to my home base in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, after preparing our 2 branch offices for ISO certification. I praise and thank God, we passed and got the ISO 9001:2008 certificates with no non-conformances reports.
Sorry for the late reply in your wonderful comments about myself. “Ad majorem Dei gloriam!” Thank you so much and I will treasure them in my heart. Yes, you were right, Ambassador! I am the youngest son of Nana Choleng Lamina, the kumadre of your late mother who was one of my benefactors when Bishop Labayen sent me to Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Seminary in Sariaya, Quezon. Maliit pa po ako nang mamatay si Tatay habang naka-destino sa Perez/Atimonan. Pagkatapos, ibinalik po kaming lahat ni Nanay sa Infanta. Kuya Noli and Ate Vener are very proud of you, idol ka nila sa totoo lang po.
My late Kuya Lonlon was the convento boy in Infanta and Pollilo Convents during the time of Fr. Joseph Mary who helped him financially in his studies. My other late Kuya Ody (Leodusco) was the classmate in elementary of Ms. Mila Glodava. Ang kahirapan po namin sa Infanta ay hindi naging sagabal sa aking kinatatayuan ngayon. Salamat sa Diyos sa pagbibigay Niya ng mga taong tumulong sa aming kahirapan sa Infanta. Nana Coring Arizala was one of them. Praise God!
In response to your thought on raising $200,000.00 for Gabaldon project, I agree with you that, if we want others to join or support us, Infantahins should be the first one to start the ball rolling. So, to start up here in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, I am giving USD500.00 as initial donation for the fundraising in the reconstruction of the Gabaldon school building in Infanta, Quezon. Not only this, I am volunteering myself as a contact person in supporting the Gabaldon project.
I am calling all Infantahins in Jeddah areas: Al Baikâ, para umpisahan ang meeting for the fund raising; taya ako! Call me at 050-6501831 or email me: t_veracruz@yahoo.com. For your information, Al Baikâ is famous for its roasted chicken in Saudi Arabia.
More power to Metro Infanta Foundation!
God bless you.
Best regards,
Tony (Anthony) L. Vera Cruz
